It's SEMA Show Time!
The 2004 SEMA Show is here. The SEMA Show is the premier
automotive specialty products trade event in the world.
It draws the industry's brightest minds and hottest products
to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. The SEMA
Show attracts more than 100,000 industry leaders from over
100 countries for unlimited profit opportunities
in the automotive, truck and SUV, marine and RV markets.
SEMA Show 2004 is expected to draw over 50,000 domestic
and international buyers through two million square feet
of exhibits. The displays are segmented into 12 sections,
and a New Products Showcase features more than 1,100 newly
introduced parts, tools and components. In addition, the
SEMA show provides attendees with educational seminars,
product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities
and more. VISIT US IN BOOTH # 20140 IN THE RACING & PERFORMANCE
HALL.
New Site is Up
The updated Innovate Motorsports
site is up and running.
The new site features a new look and feel, improved navigation
features, and a large (and growing) TUNER
RESOURCES section,
with sub-sections on Carburetion, Fuel Injection, Tuning
Terminology, Case Studies, Application Notes, Newsletter
Archives, and more. Check it out.
User Forum is a Great Resource
In case you didn't know it already, the Innovate
User Forum is a great resource. There are over 700 threads,
and thousands
of posts, covering topics related the the LM-1, LMA-2 (RPM
Converter), LMA-3
(AuxBox), and General Tuning. A "SEARCH" on the forum can
usually address anything from simple questions to complex
technical discussions. We make a major effort to stay on
top of the forum, and many of the questions are answered
by Klaus personally (Innovate's V.P. of Engineering). Note:
We'll be at SEMA next week, so have patience if we're a
little slower than normal at responding on the forum.
XD-1 (Digital Display) Product Update
The XD-1 is released
from Engineering! Now we're working through a few final
component supply issues, and are on
track to be in full production this quarter, but still
not willing to set a firm commit date for shipments. We
will be displaying the gauge at SEMA, and will start taking
pre-orders in the coming weeks. Thanks for your patience-
the XD-1 is full of amazing features that will be worth
the wait.
New LM-101 Videos are Online
The LM-101 Videos are complete,
online, and ready for viewing. In fact, they've already
been viewed over 1500
times. Whether you are a seasoned LM-1 pro, a new
user, or an Innovate Dealer, you'll find these videos useful.
The first video, "Tuning Theory & Applications," provides
som basic definitions and examples of applications. The
second video, "LM-1 Installation and Setup" provides info
on sensor location, RPM-capture setup, etc. And the third
video, "LogWorks Tips & Tricks" delves deeper into LogWorks,
including specific application and analysis examples.
Note: No new tuning tips or application notes in this
newsletter- we're completely occupied in pre-SEMA madness.
Check the forum if you want a fix of performance technology.
Until next time... Keep On Tuning!
