LC-1 In Full Production!
The LC-1 (aka Lambda Cable) is a complete wideband controller built in to a sealed and rugged cable. It features the same industry-leading patented digital circuit found in the proven LM-1, and includes digital in & out, plus two programmable analog outputs. The LC-1 is ideal for using with an ECU, a piggy-back fuel controller, a laptop/OBD-II tuner, a separate data logger system, or a dyno. (If your dyno has analog inputs, you can start doing 8-cylinder tuning without even waiting for LogWorks 2.0). MSRP on the LC-1 is $199 with a sensor, and $149 without a sensor, so you can see we’re still serious about bringing you the best in pro-quality digital tools at prices for the pro and enthusiast alike!
XD-1 Stand-alone Gauge Kits Shipping!
The Innovate XD-1 is a 52mm (2 1/16 in.) digital wideband gauge (and so much more). Combine an XD-1 and an LC-1, and you've got a stand-alone wideband AFR gauge (with two programmable analog outputs). As you know the guage comes in four color combinations (and the RGB LEDs are programmable to ANY color):
We're finally getting production ramped up to meet demand, and we have every kit in stock (at least for now). Get yours here, or contact your local Innovate dealer.
XD-1 Customizing Tool Online
One key feature of the XD-1 is that it can display ANY channel that you are logging. Although it ships as an Air/Fuel gauge, you can program it to be a boost gauge, or a CHT gauge, or whatever. We've released a web-based tool for printing custom gauge faces. You can choose any unit of measurement, various fonts, upload an logo (or other
graphic), and then print the high-resolution scaled image directly onto
transparency paper. Use you included blank white gauge face, overlay the clear
cut out, and you've got a custom gauge face! Click here to check out the tool.
BP-1 Battery Pack for LM-1 Shipping
The Innovate BP-1 Battery Pack allows you to test & log without the hassle of hooking the unit up to a 12-volt source. The BP-1 is a foam lined heavy duty plastic carrying case with a built-in 12-volt rechargeable battery & charger. The BP-1 battery allows you to log to an LM-1 (not included) for up to an hour between charges. The BP-1 works great on Sprint Cars, Midgets, Quarter Midgets, Go Karts, Motorcycles, or any application where no battery exists or is difficult to locate. More info...
LogWorks 2.0 Update
Word has begun leaking out about the pending release of LogWorks 2.0. Various forum threads have more information, but the basics are: 32 channels, torque and HP calculator, 3D charts, and a ton of additional features. Beta versions will be out by month end, with full release in July. In the meantime, below is a taste. The graph in the top left corner has calculated torque over AFR and
RPM. You can see that this car produces peak torque at ~13.4 AFR. The power
graph is transparently overlayed over the torque graph.
Car Craft Feature Article
The July issue of Car Craft Magazine (on newstands now) includes an excellent feature article on carburetor tuning with the LM-1. Pick one up for the great photos and tech. Also we have an excerpt here.
Customer Testimonial Contest
The quest for good testimonials never ends. Won a race? Set a new record? Finally solved a long-standing fuel delivery problem? Dialed in a tricky setup? Let us know. A few decent pics, and a quick write up is all it takes. This month the best one gets a FREE XD-1, so send us your emails.
Until next time... Keep On Tuning!
